Okay middling coppery brown body and a bit of foam, very soft and faint malt aroma. Flavour is very candyish sweet malt, almost cloying. Finish is overpowered by sugar. Such a simple style is spoiled by a mess of sweetness.

Amber, bit of haze, thin head. It's sweet and crackery, a bit heavy...no liquid bread character, which is what I really want in this type.

Dark brown color, unclear. There is something about the fermentation that doesn’t excite me, but it has enough malt flavor, and bitterness; a bit earthy. Somehow I think more about a strong Altbier (sticke), than a Festbier.
Good.

End of keg, muddy amber color. Malty but too yeasty, correctly bitter, with some fruity esters.
Unfair to rate it.

Draft - Malts and some flowery aromatics. Cloudy brown with a decent beige head. Malty and light spice with a touch of bitterness.

On tap at Dogwood, pours a dark amber-tinged brown with a tiny beige head. Nose is very restrained, with light bready malt and some lightly sweet cereal notes. Flavour brings out light sweet caramel bready malts - pretty true to style, but maybe a tad on the sweet side. Decent.
