"High quality belgian blond beer, masterpiece from the masterbrewers at Leffe". Refined bitterness and delicate hops aromas. Charles Nouwen, brewmaster of Leffe, traveled the world in search of the best hops. Whitbread Golding Hops is grown in the Poperinge region of Belgium. Leffe Royale Whitbread Golding is the original recipe for Leffe Royale, launched in 2012. Its delicate bitterness with citrus and resinous notes, reminiscent of that of banana or vanilla, as well as flowery aromas define this exceptional beer.

Appearance- amber, a little hazy, one finger off-white foamy head, a few bubbles rising. Aroma- malt, bread, some hops, Belgian yeast, fruitcake, some booze. Taste- sweet bready malt, sugary raisin, spices, orange peel hints, mouthfeel is sticky sweet, fruitcake and nutty hints as well. Boozy undertones. Not too complex but pretty good.

Dull amber, with a thin head. The aroma is plasticy Belgian yeast. Sweet but dull malts, a lightly phenolic character. Very sweet for a beer sold on its special hop and just not that much nuance. Good thing this cost $4 for the 750.

75 cl bottle, light amber color. Light Orange/copper color, clear, big expansive offwhite head. Aroma is sytupy malts with belgian yeast and decise hops bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth finish. Not bad.
