From the ashes of our popular, Super Jupiter Grapefruit India Pale Ale, rises a phoenix- Super Jupiter India Session Ale! This I.S.A. is drenched in delicious, grapefruit, citrus and tropical fruit from the Centennial and Azacca hops. The inclusion of grapefruit peel only amplifies its bold refreshing character. Long live Super Jupiter!

light amber color. Huge caramel malt nose. The grapefruit is much better in the mouth. Pretty damn malty. Not that exciting. Mom’s comment. I think if I had a whole bottle I would be drinking medicine.

Great creamy huge head and a nice copper-orange body with minimal carbonation. Lots of hops on the nose, sweet hops, but no layering or hints of complexity. Flavour is bitter hops and a crisp sour finish. Smart and tasty. This 1 litre bottle won’t last long.

Cask at Devil’s Elbow; 4.6% ABV, 12oz, dry hopped with Centennial
Cloudy amber color with frothy head. Reasonable Pale Ale, smooth and undercarbonated; it doesn’t have special malt or hop flavors; but on the downside it’s fairly buttery.
Not a bad beer, but the grapefruit can be more evident, the hops must be more fruity and pungent, and the diacetyl shouldn’t have place here.

@ Devil’s Elbow. Amber and hazy. Has the usual sort of caramelly, almost buttery character I associate with many Howe Sound brews. Vague hop on the nose. Light hop bitterness, hints of citrus, leaning towards diacetyl again.

On cask at the Railway Club, pours a hazy golden orange with a tiny head. Nose brings out grapefruit and light citrusy hops. Flavour is along the same lines, thankfully with little of the usual mineraly notes in ISAs. Not the most interesting one, but acceptable.
