On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with small beige head. The aroma is bready malt, caramel, toast. Medium mouth, caramel, nuts, raisin, very nice.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark brown color, near black, with brownish creamy head. Good beer, clean bottom fermentation result, less malty than the best Doppelbock, but the caramel flavor is nice and it has that character of old wood furniture similar to Altbier, hence it’s a very good and sweet imperial Altbier.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, toasted nuts, and dry bready caramel. Flavour is sweeter than the nose suggests, with caramel, roasted malt and bready notes. Sweet but not too sweet. Solid doppelbock.
