With this beer we pay homage to a true Victoria classic. Generous amounts of ginseng give this velvety cream ale its virility and wood like character. Fresh ginger teases your senses with a quiet spiciness in this arousing ale. This is a blast from the past!

Light amber, lots of ginger, with fruity gingery character. Good bitterness with a nice sweet ginger character. Hard to make a nice ginger beer and they did. This beer wasn’t much in Victoria, but Longwood’s version is pretty solid.

Draft - Sweet pale malts and herbal notes. Clearish gold with a decent white head, Ginger, pale malts and some herbal notes. Very much like a ginger beer.

Amber color, just hazy, with compact head. An ordinary Amber Ale with a light floral-spice-anise touch, that gives mild unpleasant character; low bitterness. Ginger or Ginseng, they don’t belong in beer.

Bottle, pours a clear pinkish orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite smoky and herbal upfront, with earthy notes further back. Flavour is just as bizarre, with herbal smoky notes upfront. What a strange cream ale - doesn't seem like this is supposed to taste this way. Not so good.
