Het Agnietenbier is een goud geel kloosterbier met een heerlijk hoparoma en een subtiele kruidige smaak. Lekker een moment voor uzelf.

Bottle courtedy of Deanso. Poured a murky dark amber with a very lively frothy white head and lots of carbonaton. No, let’s be honest, its a gusher... most of this beer ended up on my kitchen worktop. It’s a good job I have a big tongue. Well, that’s what she said :-) Anyway, coming back to matters in hand, the aroma was big malt and sticky toffee. The flavour is weak bitter with an apple acidic, yeasty, malt liqourice palate. Was this brown apple juice I just drank? Quite probably!

Bottled 30cl (BB 06/2013)
Courtesy of bierkoning. Hazy dark orange color, small white head, lots of floating yeast. Sticky aroma has odd barnyard-yeasty aroma. Some hops and caramel. Light to medium bodied. Active carbonation. Slightly tart yeasty and berryish flavor. A bit oily. Late bitterness. Yeast overpowers all here.

30 cL bottle at Arendsnest. Pours hazy dark orange to brown with a huge white head. Bottle was a slow gusher when opened. Aroma is mild fruity, spiced and light phenolic. High carbonation. Light toasted malty flavoured. Bitter and mild fruity. Light toasted malty base. Smooth fruity and toasted malty into the finish.
