Can: Dark golden honey in color, topped with a thin off-white head. Mild scent of straw, yeast, and a malty sweetness. Lightly floral and even hints of tropical fruit. Less dramatic in the taste… sort of malty, with dirty herbals and yeast.

Golden coloured body with a tiny, single centimetre tall white head. Aroma of grass, grain and a little hops to couple with the pronounced hay and grassy flavour. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal notes with a yeast and a grain overtone with a bit of a light yeast note. Aftertaste shows mostly grass, grain and yeast and only a touch of sweetness. Overall, a nice saison, of course, served from a can. I sampled this sixteen ounce bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 03-May-2015 for US$2,50 sampled in my hotel room in Portland, Oregon on 04-May-2015, a day later.

Can from Brewers Haven. Initial aroma and pour had me thinking this was right on. Taste quickly becomes overly sweet, Some peppery accents that almost burn like a DIPA. Seems right on the surface, but fig deeper and its slightly flawed.

Bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out notes of farmhouse yeast and some earthy funk. Flavour is very muddy yeasty, with light orange zest, dirty yeast and earthy notes. Typical North American saison, with too much yeast and quite inauthentic. Not too bad.
