On tap at Northwest, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is oddly spiced, with infected marzipan and red fruits. Flavour isn't quite as spicy, but still is dominated by whatever spices are in here - not getting much else. Certainly not a disaster, but this isn't to my taste.

Draft - Various spices and dark chocolate notes. Jet black with a rich brown head. Dark chocolate, dark roast and a light spicy note. Spices are a bit odd but still OK.

Medium brown, sweet and a bit muddy/yeasty, light fudge, a dash of chocolate but a thin uneventful stout.
