Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Very black, minimal head. Rich coffee aroma. Sweet and full bodied with sugar chocolate and coffee. Solid, compact body with soft edges and mild alcohol warmth. Slightly resiny bitterness. A bit too sweet, otherwise a lovely stout.

Coffee nose, a little woody. Chocolate and sweet caramel. Very nice, rounded and full mouthfeel. Hazy brown color.

Black with a small tan head. Malt, licorice and dark chocolate aroma with fruit, oak and whisky notes and a touch of vineous alcohol. Sweet and malty flavour with intense licorice and coffee, a hint of ash, and a fruity tartness.

75cl Bottle from De Bierkoning to celebrate my 31st birthday. Pitch black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of superb roasted malts, coffee, plain chocolate and a little booze, tar. Flavour is hard roasted malts, chocolate, tar, sweet choc mousse, booze, some liquorice, bitter roasted and hoppy finish. Fullbodied, thick oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Excellent stuff, just a bit more boozy than the regular version, but also more roasted flavours which I like a lot. Superb.

Tap @ Copenhagen Beer Fest. Notes of milk, vanilla and sweet alcohol in aroma. Add some smokiness, licorice and bitterness in the aftertaste and you pretty much get the picture. Very drinkable, but quite thin for a 10%ABV beer.
