Of the NA iterations of beers I know and love, this probably comes closest to “the real thing” - it’s lighter and less sweet, but the mouthfeel is full and the complex spicy phenols are largely intact - finish gets a little watery, and it’s not as complex, of course, but it’s quite good for what it is.

Pours a hazy yellow/golden with a big white head. Aroma of wheat, not much else. Very watery. Yet it’s pretty drinkable for a low alcohol beer. Just very, very dull.

Bottle at Frankford Hall: pours hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma is light banana and some spice, but definitely not as much if the yeast was fully there. Sweetish and a little spicy.

0,5l bottle @ CoolHead taproom. Pours hazy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is light sweet malts with wheat and banana. Flavor is light sweet malts, wheat, banana, some hops. Decent.
Countdown to 2500!!!!! Just shows how it’s not that hard to do a decent hefeweiss. Even without alcohol!

Aspecto más que imponente en la copa Edimburgh donde la he servido, color anaranjado, turbia, espuma blanca de excelente retención. En nariz agrada, trigo, pan, cítricos , gachas de cereal molido, confitura de naranja, leve punto floral, algo de especias... En boca entra jugosa y refrescante, ligeramente dulce, con un punto ácido. Además de confirmar en boca las notas aromáticas detectadas por el olfato se detecta una ligerísima nota de plátano, prácticamente no hay rastro de aquellas notas desagradables y tan poco atractivas que suelen abundar en las birras no alcohólicas. En conclusión una cerveza sin alcohol muy a la altura de poder sustituir eventualmente a una con alcohol y aun así disfrutar de la experiencia. Una muy buena opción de cerveza sin, cuya calidad sobresale de la media, y en base a esto establezco mi calificación.

Hell orange und trüb. Abgekochte Früchte, Getreide (nicht zu leer), ein Hauch Zitronensaft und frische Orange, Spuren von Apfelessig. Relativ sämige Konsistenz, die aber durch die sehr saure Auslegung des Biers hier nicht mehr viel retten kann.

Bottle. Cloudy golden. Clove, dust, banana. Taste is very soft. Very very soft. Clove. No bitterness. Guess alright.
