A sour yet refreshing ale characterized by its low ABV. Kettle soured to give a sour yet clean beer, our take on a Berliner Weisse uses Hallertau Blanc hops to give a citrusy, grape-like flavour and aroma.

Cask at the brewery, January 2015
Hazy amber color with generous frothy head. The aroma is sour like apple cider, light wheat bread. Soft mouthfeel (this beer would probably benefit from some carbonation ); not sour at all, no lactic acid, instead there is a strong footy and bready flavor (pedio?). Absent bitterness.
Drinkable, but it seems off target and confused.

Cask - Gummy sweetness. Copper with decent off white head. Sweet, light nutty malts notes. This is not a Berliner Weiss.

On cask at Main Street, pours a cloudy orange-tinted golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of sweetness, a little citrus Nd some wheat. Flavour is very wheaty, with too much sweetness and some citrus. Not an authentic berliner weisse by any means and not overly thrilling. Meh.
