"Old Oddvars 2015". Hazy, some estery notes, chewy strong English ale. Light bitterness.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pouts a clear deep brown with a gold hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy grains and bread plus some light toffee. Flavor has earthy grains, bread and a hint of toffee.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and molasses. Medium body, caramel, rye, molasses, light finish, good.

On tap at Populuxe, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a large beige head. Nose is very spicy, with weird herbal notes and light fruitiness. Flavour is full of stone fruits, followed by herbal spicy notes. Quite soft on the palate, with a good balance. Solid stuff.

Draft - Prune, plum and raisin, cleanish copper with a decent white head. As it smells, old fruity and quite nice. Well done.
