Bottle, 330 ml, at La Rovira, Barcelona. 2015 vintage. Brown with medium beige head. Full of grapes, wood, vinous, red wine, some dried fruit, beautiful sourness, some caramel. Very drinkable for abv, no alcohol to be detected. Medium bodied.

Slightly murky brown with a couple of fingers of a quite dense and nicely persistent off-white head that shows good lacing. Quite a surprising head for the abv. Vivid and complex aroma. A soft malty and sugary feel (caramel, chocolate, brown sugar) with lots of dark/dried fruit notes and delicate sourness, with a vinous/oakish feel and slight vinegar. Taste follows the aroma with quite high sweetness, nicely cut by hints of sourness. It has a warming/alcoholic feel but overall the high abv is tremendously well hidden. Surprisingly medium bodied with average carbonation, resulting in a nice smooth and soft, slightly sugary mouthfeel. It has great complexity but it goes down so easy for such high gravity. Seriously good.
