On tap at the brewery. Aroma is soft barley with maybe some coffee if I twist my head. Has no foam and a darker ruby brown body. Flavour is a soft mix of chocolate and barley. Watery mouthfeel. This is just average, okay, though serviceable.

On tap. Pours a clear dark brown with amber hue and a large, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted chocolate malt, oats and a hint of coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, lactose and oats with a dry, mildly bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.

On tap at Bitter Tasting Room. Some chocolate in the non-intensive aroma. Some coffee and bitterness of roasted malt. Quite poor taste, unfortunately.

Dark chocolate and a touch of vanilla. Some oat. Black pour with some good head and lacing. Light oaky touch. Bitter finish. Tap at St augustines.

Medium brown. Light aroma. Raisiny fruity character, bit of chocolate. Oatmeal raisin chocolate chip cookie. A bit disjointed but I can see how it works.

I wouldn’t call this a sweet stout. Dark brown,lasting tan head.Nose of dry roast & bitter chocolate.Palate of roast coffee,light cocoa,condensed milk tones.Lasting medium strength bitterness in finish. Quite nice

On tap at Moody Ales, pours an amber-tinged dark brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out notes of oats upfront, with some medium sweet cocoa. Flavour is quite bitter, with dry cocoa, lots of oatmeal and a somewhat metallic astringency on the finish. Seems a bit out of balance - needs some maltier notes to take away the astringency. Decent.

Draft - Coffee, chocolate and oats. Jet brown black with a decent light brown head. Lots of chocolate and coca, some Berry notes and long bitterness. As it sits dark bakers chocolate becomes much more pronounced.

Dark brown color, almost black. Roasty, dry, a bit coffeish. Nice Stout, a bit different.
