The first beer to ever be brewed in Borgorose is still the most loved and appreciated. Inspired by traditional British India Pale Ales it has intense aromas given by American aromatic hops. Amber in color, it has a medium body, the aromas are clearly of citrus fruits and peppery. Carbonation is slightly low as traditional to its style. The mouthfeel leads to a persistent and intense bitterness.

Bottle from the Roadhouse. Barbecue, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is nettle grass hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a resin wood hop citrus bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Mediun bodied with average carbonation.

Deep amber color. Creamy white head. Lots of crystal malts, very approachable, earthy, malty IPA but very well made. Very enjoyable. Good stuff

Bottle from Craftissimo in the mall. Hazy/opaque amber pour with thin yellowy fine head. Aroma is mild fresh hops and malt. Taste is sweet and malty but with pronounced crisp bitter hops. Bitter dry hoppy finish. Smooth bubbly palate. Really nice and balanced - would be good with a lot of food. Almost like a less malty, more hoppy Rogue Dead Guy.

Nice blend of variations to the pale ale style. American hop signature in the aroma and flavor combined with an European affection for the bready caramel malts. Overall a very well balanced interpretation.

33cl bottle from Vinmopolet, Briskeby. Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Hoppy and caramelly aroma with fruits, mild spicy notes and malt. Sweet, malty and hoppy, but not so fresh anymore - getting close to the expiration date, but still quite nice. A bit on the sweet side, but fairly balanced. Prefer the ReAle Extra, but this is also quite drinkable.
