22oz bottle. Pours nearly black with minimal head. Huge bourbon, molasses, burn sugars, and charred wood on the nose. Flavour has tons of charred bourbon barrels, burnt sugar, bread crusts, and molasses. Great malt depth and barrel character with good integration and complexity.

Dark brown, boozy and rich, some headsy phenols from the barrel. Lots of sugar. The base stout is on the sweet side, doesn’t have a complex malt character. It’s decent but definitely a bit too boozy for me.

Trade. Shared at Delaneys, Odense. Pours mega Black with a small beige head and lacings. Roast and bourbon. Slick vanilla, No booze, coffee and a touch of dried fruit. Well rounded and quite sippable for 14%. Excellent bourbon impy with No messin about. Chocofanter. Nice

Old school storlek större. Riktigt gott.

Black colour. Lean and elegant, with strong bourbon character and strong alcohol, cocoa, touch of marzipan. Warming.
Very good.

2016 on tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is wood, bourbon, vanilla, roast. Medium body, roast, cocoa, vanilla, light smoke, boozy finish, very good.

Black with brown head. Woody alcoholic nose and palate, both so strong nothing else comes through

Had 2013, 2014, and 2015 on tap at the brewery during the 2015 release. One was oxidized and one was super diacetyl. The 2015 was neither but a thinner body than I want. Not super sweet or super boozy but definitely both, again a thicker body would help. Not particularly interesting or worthy of revisiting.
