500ml bottle: BBD 24 Oct 14. Cheers Mat for bringing this to the October Shrewsbury bottle swap: shared between four. Pours]ed a dark ruby/brown with a tanned and creamy head. The nose was of sweet malty molasses with some plum like fruitiness. The taste also malty sweet and again with a plum feel, some liquorice also in a flavoursome mixture that had coffee traces within it too. Smooth in taste and body, with only a hint of alcohol coming through: very pleasant in deed.

Reddish brown color. Big creamy beige head.soft earthy malt nose. Tasty sweet herbal malt flavor has a coffee-like character. Wonderfully smooth and creamy. Reminiscent of a German Dunkel or Marzen. Quite tasty.

At cafe local . Pours black , good white head . Smell is a bit roasted malts , bit fish-aspects . Good carbo , nice mouthfeel . Taste is chocolaty . Sweet , , coockies , bit malts , some sugar . Very nice ! @ 2014 Re-rate @2017 . Blind tasting in Black glassware . Smell is mild malty, some phenols. very mild peppery note. Taste is creamy, malty, but not very fresh. not only oxidation though. mild bitter note. some esthers, but surely not to much. mild sweetness, more fully prominent in the aftertaste. 4.2 / 5 ---------------------------------------------- Previously described tastes are recognized when pouring the beer in clear glasses afterwards. The ultimate proof that eyes do taste along ? 3.4 on this occasion.

Bottle at home. Has a black colour with a light brown, big head. A bit careful aroma of roasted malt, coffee and some dark chocolate. The flavour is similar but feels more roasted. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A light, balanced and easy-drinking baltic porter.

Pours a deep black color, topped with a decent tan colored head, retention is also fine. There is a very pleasant chocolate aroma mixed with some raosted aroma as well. The taste is slightly sweet and creamy, chocolate is dominant, followed by roasted feel and coffee. The finish is mildly bitter. All in all a very enjoyable beer.

0,5L bottle, BB 25.03.2015. Pours black with light tan head. The head stays. Aroma is caramel, potatoes, and burnt sugar. Taste is sweet, caramel, burnt sugar, mild dark chocolate, and slightly metallic. Finish is burnt sugar sweet and bitter. Overall: drinkable for macro brew, too sweet for my taste.
