Poured from 375mL bottle (2010 limited edition). Clear amber brown with no head. Herbal honey with feint wood notes, some elderberry, decent.

375ml shared with Phill and Alex (thx, for the bottle!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: copper with no head. Aroma: nicely sweet, some booze maybe, berries, a bit woody. Taste: quite sweet, honey, some tannins, berries. A bit thin maybe for 12%. Overall: pleasant.

Medium red body. Nice sweet berry aroma, more sugary than expected, must be the honey. Taste is soft berry, vague woody honey, ends smooth with nice lingering sweetness. Okay but a little more boldness would work wonders.

2013 bottle, pours a pinkish amber. Aroma is lightly tart and fruity, with low sweetness. Flavour brings out loads of elderberries, with a tinge of sweetness, and subtle tartness. Low complexity - not much elegance here.

Bottle - Light and fruity, bit herbal and sweetness. Pale pink orange. Herbal and a bit boozy with a very dry finish.

2023-11-25, bottle from the meadery, synthetic cork, vintage 2010, 13 years old, 7-3-8-4-16=38
It got darker, maroon. Aroma of pie, caramelized apple, signs of oxidation. Sweet mouthfeel; it tastes like jam, stewed apple, cooked quince, touch of sweet berry; warming alcohol in the finish.
I'd say, the light oxidation turned this one into a pleasant product.

Light red color. The aroma is very nice, reminiscent of some red wines, with light rubber; some fresher notes appear later. Sweet mouthfeel, with an elegant combination of honey and fruit, very light tannins, light character of young wine, medium acidity.
Very pleasant.
