Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, fruity notes, raisins, chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Rather strong flavour. As Dubbels go this one is quite alright, nice hoppy bitterness.

Starts as an ordinary dubbel, but ends on a fruity note. Unexpectadly fresh, I liked it.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark chesnut with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is yeasty leading to a medium bitter, malty flavour with slightly acidic, alcoholic palate. Quite drinkable.

Hazy brown beer. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Light sour malt, a touch of unsweet chocolate and a whisper of marmite. Finishes dry with just a trace of fruit. Competent.

Hazy ruby brown colour with a big off-white head. Beer gushed slightly when opened. Smells yeast, alcohol, sharp. Tastes caramel, liquorice, chocolate. Quite a surprise, a bit stout like. Also some iron and rust taste, which is a shame. Slightly watery though, a lot of carbo.
