Draft 7 oz pour at Pacific, Tacoma. A shiny golden pour, oily, with a thin fizz head. Corny, straw aroma, but less offensive than my pale lager expectations. Flavor is a corn flake cereal grain, straw. A little thicker than expected. Has a lingering, coating mouthfeel. Has a slight refreshing, cool element to it, but as an overall, this isn’t something I really enjoy. Premium on the average lager category. A fun try for sure.

On tap at Pacific Malting, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy notes and herbal hops - smells very fresh. Flavour is along the same lines, with grassy hops and crisp biscuity malt. Pretty clean and solid. Unusually cloudy for a pale lager. Solid.

Keg at the taproom, 07/11/14. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malt, grain husks, bready notes, cereals, light spice. Taste carries astringent bitter notes, light citric peel, grain. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not great, light metallic wash in the close, just about shades a macro lager but sub par in the craft world, pretty washed through and limited.

Draft - Light pale malt sweetness. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Pale malts, a light bite and sweet finish. Aimed at the mass market and pretty bland.
