This well-balanced ale is full bodied with a distinctive hop character. Truly a beer made to match the tastes of the people who desire a little more from their beer.

Reddish-amber, aroma is pretty assertive caramel and maybe some earthy hop. Taste has a lot of caramel, with earthy, somewhat chocolatey notes. Finishes a bit sweet. Okay for style but not an exciting style.

Draught at the brewpub
Dark amber color; small creamy head. Light aroma of caramel and roasted malt. The roasted malt and caramel flavor is quite nice, with a light biscuity touch, followed by hops that are a bit aromatic and fruity. The final is just a tad more roasty and ashy. Overall a dry but fairly good beer.

Has a soft malt aroma. Appearance is a nice brown-amber body, very clear, with decent head. Flavour is slight malts but very hoppy, much more IPA-ish than a regular red or amber beer. Medium finish. It’s a bit mislabelled, but certainly drinkable.
