On tap at Seattle Winter Beer Festival 2014, pours an opaque dark orange with a medium tan head. Aroma is dry well-balanced, with lots of piney and resinous hops, and a big caramel malt backbone. Flavour is nice and dry, with lots of piney and resinous hops, with a dry biscuity malt backing. Loads of pine dominate this, much to my taste, though there's a slight vegetal quality. Very nice stuff.

Half pour at Chuck’s in Greenwood (Seattle). Orange copper. Fruit hops and C hops in aroma but not too bright or fresh, a bit muddled. Flavor is lots of tea and biscuit malt with even less imperial hop character. Yawnsville and no fun IPA.

Draft - Berry notes, caramel and some wood. Cloudy copper with a decent beige head. Woody hops, berry sweetness and a dry bitter finish.
