Bottle. At the edge of the BBD, seems in good condition though. Rather thin body, medium carbonation. Pretty clean in flavour, centered around moderate spicy yeasty phenolics, slightly flowery and grassy. Clean, smooth, easy drinking. Quite good, even if not the most exciting one.

Ship & Mitre had a 33 cl bottle of Puur for me in their limited but quality take-home selection. Pairing this beer with my ABGB snifter, just seems right. The arrival is a sparkling, clear, gold-yellow liquid, great carbonation and an arctic white head. The scent is yellow fruit, grain and meadow. I’m drinking this one cold and it is refreshing on a very warm, early summer Texas afternoon. Apricots, lemons, white bread and some hoppy bitterness. The brew finishes fairly dry. Puur indeed.
