330ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, rapidly diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Bready, pale malty, yeasty spicy and herbal-grassy hoppy aroma, hints of white bread crust, some nettle, thistle, sorrel, a touch of sage, white pepper, cardamom, light citrusy overtones of old lime peel. Taste is mildly peppery, yeasty spicy, minimally bready, pale malty, slightly herbal-grassy hoppy, hints of coriander, white pepper, cardamom, thistle, a light citrusy touch of old lime peel. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice composition, light and refreshing, not as complex in taste as in the aroma - pretty decent.

Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Yeasty and bubblegum aroma with floral undertones. Taste is mildly sweet up front, then trends dry and mildly bitter at the finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Mildly refreshing. Pleasant.

Bottle. Malty spicy aroma and taste, ligbt herbal notes, medium bitter. Light to medium body, malty spicy bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle at St Joris brewery in Breda. An easy going light trappist ale that had some nice hints of funk yeast. Somewhat Hazy. Nice.

Bottle at Logitech vrijdagmiddag borrel. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, bit yeasty. Taste: Yeasty, malty, grainy. Floral notes. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice and Pure indeed.

Cette Trappe Puur n'a pas grand chose pour elle. A se demander pourquoi une telle brasserie a décidé de la commercialiser. Arômes simples principalement de céréales et légèrement agrémentés d'herbes, de citron et de coriandre ; structure peu équilibrée avec une acidité trop présente et un alcool à 4,7 peu efficace ; et des corpulence et longueur peu développées. Réellement pas exceptionnel tout cela....Le visuel est tout de même honorable avec un blond pâle limpide nappé d'une fine couche de mousse blanche. Le nez est proche d'une pils sur les céréales avec un houblon légèrement herbacé. On ressent déjà une certaine acidité, mais celle-ci est encore plus présente en bouche avec des déséquilibres patents. Un Puur échec.

A very refreshing beer with a nice bitterness and not to fruity or flowery in flavour. Light golden in color with a white head.

Trappistebier trifft Pils - ziemlich hopfig der Abt. Lang anhaltende Bitternoten, aber sehr angenehm. Spannende Komposition.
