Organic top-fermented Trappist ale with a beautifully solid mousse head. Blond in colour and slightly cloudy. Fruity and hoppy beer with a pleasant bitterness.

Trappistebier trifft Pils - ziemlich hopfig der Abt. Lang anhaltende Bitternoten, aber sehr angenehm. Spannende Komposition.

Bottle from Beer 52. Hmm, initial aroma is definitely some sort of meaty paste ! Quickly gives way to hops, yeast and banana though. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a very large but transient frothy white head. Taste is hops chiefly, with a good amount of lemon, and spices plus hints of pear and banana. Flowery and fruity finish. A nice drink but a bit too lemony for my liking.

Pours crystal clear gold with a large head.Nose shows super grassy, herbal, earthy and spicy hops, Belgian yeast, spicy phenols and a bit of a doughy/bready notes.Flavours include more spicy and grassy hops, doughy and bready malt, pear notes and a reasonable bitterness.Carbonation seems excessive.

Solid beer, rather plain, but to style. A nice yeast forward beer with some vegetal bitterness. Graeff Hamburg

On tap at Arendsnet in Amsterdam. A bit hazy golden pour with a white regular foam leaving drafts while lowering. Nose: crumb, bread yeast, herbs. Mouth: medium carbonation, decent drink ability with herbal hints and a bit of tartness.
