Bottle 0,75ltr: Hazy orange coloured brew thats not so bitter as the other brews, but quite subtle sweetbitter of taste. An good reliable ale from Bodegraven.

Bottled 24.11.04, 75 cl bottle. Dark orange brown color, big frothy head. Malt and licorice in the aroma and flavor. Hops, ginger, laurel, some caramel. Full bodied. Well made beer, but not my favorite beer from brouwerij De Molen. I prefer them less herbal. (6 3 7 2 13 = 3.1) Bottle, sold as Oliviers Molenbier, 8,5%. Bottled december 2006. Probably a slightly altered recipe. Vanilla, a touch of yeast and orange in the aroma. Malty, very fruity (orange, pineapple, mango) flavor with a firm underlying flowery hopbitterness. Full bodied. Flowery earthy and citric hopbitter aftertaste. Nice one.

Best before 14/02/15. Somewhat fruity strong ale, almost a barley wine. Hints of wood, plums.. Little bitter hit at the end. Nice stuff!

33cl bottle. Dark ruby pour with a tall, fine-grained beige head that gives way to a sticky lacing. Smells like bourbon barrel, caramel, hazelnuts, dried fruit, strawberry jam and other sweet flavors. The taste follows the same notes, with some additional ones that are quite dominant of the taste notes - milk chocolate, cappuccino and toffee. Surprisingly compex, and all the components go very well together. Medium body with low carbonation and soft mouthfeel.

Bottle, best before 14-02-15. Dark brown pour. Aroma of red port, ripe fruit and raisin, nice. Taste of ripe red fruit, ruby port, raisin, subtle malt and mild caramel. Smooth and delicious.

33cl bottle from Biernavigatie, shared with Kermis. Thick creamy off white head. Hazy deep amber pour. Caramel, port and some sweetness. aged very well. Nice brew

75 cl. bottle @ Rick, bottle shared by Ivo. Amber with a white head. Aroma is sweetish with orange and some malts. Taste is rather on the sweet side but with enough bitterness. That this beer is old, brewed in 2011, is maybe the cause of this sweetness but other than that the taste is really good. Well concealed alcohol.

Bottle, 8.5% bb 24.2.15. Hazy amber, no head. Smoke and rye bread aroma, leaves, bit of alcohol, old ale like. Dry chewy body, mellow mouthfeel. Light wooden and toasty, herbal and grassy in the back, roasted and chocolaty, great balance. Great beer, look forward to try the new version as well.
