On tap at Dragonmead, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out robust roasted malt and earthy piney hops in seemingly good balance. Flavour is a bit harshly bitter, with lots of roasted malt, bitter earthy hops, and some unpleasant bitter astringency. A little harsh and lacking cohesion, but it's pleasant enough.

On tap at Dragonmead. Deep brown pour with an off-white head. Chocolate and pine hop aroma. Pine hop and roasty cocoa and coffee. A good black IPA here.

Draft - Light roast malts and a light perfumy hop profile. Jet black with a nice brown head. Roasty malts and a very light hop notes. Not nearly as hoppy as hoped.
