Nice label on bottle, I’m getting a bollywood looking at it. Not a blonde, don’t be fooled, this is a hazy copper ale of some sort. Big rock craggy head sizzle down to nice lacing. Smell is mildly metallic. First taste impression is sizzling cutting co2, NICE! So creamy smooth, I’ve used creamy to describe other beers but the co2 in this makes it so creamy! This is pretty much the effect I get when I think about a saison; smooth easy drinking brew with lots of co2 and quite an aspect of freshness. Saison it is, so friendly and it hides it’s alky without any negative attributes. So, you better watch out and you better not cry! It will give you a little kick in the ass! Fun, easy, nice, good, yummy, tasty, sizzly, beer drinken experience. Great job AB! My bollywood continues all the way to the end!

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle from jsquire poured into a glass. Hazy light orange with small white head. Aroma is very light orange, medium body, medium carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is light orange, some grassy hops, and hints of coriander.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, cracker, bread, light honey, coriander, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, spices, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, cracker, bread, light honey, coriander, herbal, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light earthy/spicy bitterness and slight citrus tang on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity and balance of pale malt, spices, and earthy hop flavors; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly dry mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice blonde ale. All around good complexity, balance, and robustness of pale malt, spices, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Slutfest 2013: Distinct tea nose with strawberry accents. Hazy amber, medium head. Tangy lemon and tea flavor. Subtle apricot and light malt finish. Soft carbonation. I think it’s neat even if no one else does. Debatable as a saison. Probably not a blonde either.

Bottle in Detroit. Cloudy, darkish orange appearance with a cream colored head. Fairly spicy, lemongrass, orange citrusy, slightly tangy aroma. Weird, tangy, somewhat spicy yeasty, lemongrass, orange citrusy, tangy flavor. Not enjoyable at all.

(bottle) clear amber colour, no ead; sweet aroma - hard candy, fruit compote; flavour is tart - like dry fruit beer - this is certainly not anything like belgian blonde ale, but good in its own right

On tap at the brewpub. Pours brown amber with a white head. Aroma is very much like iced tea. Flavor is also similar to iced tea, very herbal, with some citrus lemon notes. I didn’t really enjoy this, but I can understand why someone might.

On tap at Arbor Brewing Company. Poured golden with a ruby tint, minimal head. Aroma consisted of citrus notes with some hops. Flavor was sweet throughout with underlying citrus notes. Nothing special.
