Our Hop Ottin’ IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade. This beer is a showcase of the bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot peak with a dry, herbal finish in this well-balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, large and creamy head. Floral-citrusy hoppy nose. Full-bodied, solid malty bacground with lots and lots of floral-resiny and mainly citrusy hops. The malty base is not too sweet, the hops come through beautifully. Lingering hoppy finish.

355ml Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear copper amber colour, off white head. Aroma of pine and citrus, light malty, caramel. Flavour is light sweet caramel, sharp bitterness, lots of pine and citrus, dry bitter finish. Light bodied. Very refreshing, just a tad too harsh in bitterness imo.

From a 650ml bottle on 25/9/2010. Has a powerful piney, floral, fruit hop aroma. Fantastic, complex flavours, including sweet malt, caramel, grapefruit, nuts and spices greet you when you take a sip. Has a dry finish, with with the hops clanging in your mouth for what seems like an age. An absolutely outstanding IPA.

Bottle. Light amber. An inch of beige head. Low bead. Mild aroma of light floral honey, pine and bit of grapefruit. Taste has fairly plain caramel sweetness with piney bitterness. Lingering bitter finish. Good flavours, not wildly out balance - but rather lacking in personality. [3.5]Can. Almost still amber beneath a large white head. A little undercarbonated. Caramel and mild honey, pine and grapefruit. Lingering bitterness. All the character is in the packaging.

not a bad ipa, actually was pretty surprising coming from the west coast, i was expecting a hop bomb like most west coast ipas are, but this was pleasantly balanced. more of a west coast/east coast hybrid, nice coloring and flavor, mostly citrus, not floral tastes, with a little malt sweetness to round it out. good beer.

Bottled:
Pours deep orange-y amber with a rocky head. Aroma is oranges and marshmallows. Flavour is resin, salty liquorice and a big, aggressive bitterness.
