Our Hop Ottin’ IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade. This beer is a showcase of the bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot peak with a dry, herbal finish in this well-balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

Bottle purchased and drunk in Rome. Pours a great dark orange color, cloudy appearance and tick white head. Great appearance. Nose: combination of amber malts and predominant notes of tropical fruit, lime, citrus. Mouth: the amber malts invade the mouth (lack of freshness or the brewer aimed to this?), the bitterness is very thin but for me, who like the malty notes, it is not a minus. It is a good IPA though I am sure my friend luttonm would have some objections on the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours amber, burnt toffee fruity nose, taste is bitter, burnt toffee, juicy hops.

12 fl oz can. Pours an orangey amber colour with a creamy white foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of tropical fruit mango, mandarin, hop resin. Taste is malt caramel with mango, citrus grapefruit, pine hoppy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Very drinkable.

15 cl. sample glass @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Darker amber with a creamy white head. Smells quite sweet, vanilla upfront, sugar, sweet pine resin in the back. Tastes of bitter bark upfront, vanilla followed by bitter pine resin, esters, caramel, brown sugar. Thick body. Not what I usually expect from an DIPA but enjoyable all the same.

Very malty English style IPA. Lots of barley here with light dose of citrus hops. Pours orange with decent head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness. Can at pub around corner of my work.

Hops rule in this brew, pours with high, rocky head. Very tart, sharp bitterness, dry mouthfeel and finish. A big, bold IPA

Can from AmmersinO, Vienna. Clear, amber body, with a big, frothy, slightly yellow head, that leaves a nice ring-shaped lacing. Interesting aroma of jelly roll with apricot, peach, grapefruit, flowers, pine. Tastes of citrus, strawberry, peach, pine, with a tasty, smooth malt backbone of biscuit, bubblegum, honey and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a decent carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, dry, also a bit sweet, with fruity, piney and malty notes. Really tasty! A distinct IPA, perfectly balanced, with nice, uncommon fruit notes and most of all really great malt notes! It doesn’t have the most aggressive hop bite, but if offers a pleasant complexity instead.
