Our Hop Ottin’ IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade. This beer is a showcase of the bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot peak with a dry, herbal finish in this well-balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

12 fl oz bottle. Cloudy amber in the glass. Fine head. Spicy hopy on the nose. Starts bitter and herb, harder than expected. The bitterness covers the flavor. Oily texture. Later a little bit more fresher grapefruit on a bitter bedding.

Aroma is floral. Flavor is grape like bitter with sweet floral notes and a dry aftertaste. Color is golden amber with a white head.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv malzig, fruchtig herb. Geschmack sehr mild fruchtig bitter nach exotischen Früchten.

Too malty for my liking. Artificial flavorings are not working.

12 fluid ounce can shared with jeevan. Pours clear orange gold, thin white head. Big resin and pine aromas. Light malt. Taste is initially pretty hoppy, but it balances out with the caramel. Nice.

(Last) bottle @ Bedford Arms, Bedford. Deep copper. Slightly cloudy, a lot of lacing. Gorgeous aroma of white grape and spruce hop with heady malt. Taste is bitterest I’ve experienced in a while. IBUs must be through the roof! Very good but too bitter for my liking, but still a hit of the biscuity malt. Lovely mouthfeel and finish, caresses the gums like an angel. Verdict: nice, malty aroma and a hoppy taste. Well crafted.
