On tap at the Winnipeg airport. Has foamy beige head but rather fast disappearing and a reasonably dark brown body. Smells of very sweet lager barley, all smooth and sugary, no rough edges, like a ball bearing sinking in water. Flavour is a kind of weak earthy barley with vegetable notes. Wet on the mouth, no crispness, and that vegetable character lingers. This is an awkward mess, wonky would be the best word to describe it.

Cleanly made brown, it's at the very high end of the roastiness for the style and relatively dark. I think this is also underrated on ratebeer. Can from LB. (2017) rated 3.4 Dec 2019. Rerated can from LB. drank as an english mild it’s absolutely fantastic, so mild yet so complex and smooth with a great body.

From notes:
It was poured from a can the color was a dark brown with a slight head. The aroma was metallic like the can. The taste was of a slight bitter malt flavor.

Bottle. Nutty/smoky molasses aroma. Medium brown with small head. Pine, smoke and molasses flavor - unique and very nice. A very good brown ale that I will probably never see again. Thanks to Piscator34.
