Brown color. Indeed I remember that 20 years ago I had many similar beers in Scotland, somehow they were stronger Amber Ales, with off-dry caramel flavor and not much character, and no smoked malt. This is one of those.

Somewhat dull amber, malt, a bit of toffee, not interesting but clean character, light bitterness and the malts hint at brown sugar.

On tap at Wander, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry bready malts and a touch of caramel. Flavour is quite bland, with bready malt, not much caramel. Very bland - it's missing something. Not the best wee heavy.

Draft - Caramel and toasted malts. Clear amber with a rich white head. Caramel and toasted malts, mellow sweetness. Decent.
