English style pale ale with a West Coast twist. This copper colour beer combines the best of British malts with the best of West Coast hops. This creates a dry, crisp pale ale with a pronounced grapefruit hop nose. Hoppy but not over the top.

On tap at Four Mile, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out notes of diacetyl upfront, with not much else. Flavour is unfortunately also infected with mild diacetyl, along with biscuity malt and living British hopping. Gotta fix this problem. Not good as is.

Bottle. Dark copper, offwhite head. Earthy hops, medium light, caramel malt base. A bit meh.

Draught at the brewpub
Golden to light amber color with creamy head. Delicate hop aroma, with lemony character. Lean malt flavor with hints of caramel, and mild citrusy hops; correct bitterness; dryish final.
Not bad.
