On tap at Boise brewery. Definitely sour, wouldn’t be surprised if they used sour cherries. Dark Ruby pour, sour winelike aroma, cherries in the taste somewhere, but mostly dominated by the yeast.

On tap at 10 Barrel, pours a cloudy dark reddish brown with a small head. Aroma of tart cherries and Belgian yeast. Flavour is very tart, with sour cherries, some medicinal cough syrup notes, and Belgian yeast. Not overly pleasant, with the tart syrupy medicinal notes, but not a disaster. Okay.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy brown with small white head. The aroma is cherry skin, funk, wood. Thin mouth, light tartness, black cherry, bready malt, crushable, very good.

Bottle via JohnGalt1, thanks man! Pours a chestnut brown color with about a finger of fizzy beige head. Lots of bubbles. Nose is vinous, oak, and vanilla. The vanilla is speaking to me… a marvelous aroma. I’m picking up the cherries at first sip, along with light vinous notes and oak. A little on the acidic side and dry. Has some cider qualities. Overall it drinks well, but that nose is insane. Pretty stoked for the chance to try this, thanks again Toby.

Draft - Rich sour cherry and dark oak. Cloudy copper with a decent beige head. Sweet cherry, Worcestershire, and lots of oak. Oddly spicy without the tartness or balsamic.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a muddy maroon with a tan ring of a head. Nose is cherries house Berliner notes and some tartness. Taste is as the nose with a good cherry present a nice tart note and some roast smoke on the end.

On Tap at the Boise Brew Pub. Hazy redish brown with a thin ring. Lovely sour sweet/tart aroma. Just a touch of fruitiness, cherries. Malty, cidery and some cherries in the flavor. Still a sour brown, but the cherries give it a nice slant. Wouldn’t quite call this a "cherry" beer. Palate is dry and quick, and not much lingering.
