Draft - Light wheat and citrus. Pale clear light gold with a dent white head. Nice full wheat up front with a very light sweetness and clean finish. Nice way to emphasize the wheat.

On tap at the brewpub it is clear light yellow with a slight head. The aroma is of pineapple and the taste is that of lemon
And wheat. It is thin and remains bitter on the palate

Approximately 4 oz sample at the brewpub in Hays, Kansas. Pour is almost clear (hints of haze) golden, with a smallish white head. Aroma has some light wheat, hint of lemon citrus behind that - faint nose. Taste is grainy wheat, turning to some dirtiness in the middle followed by diacetyl through to the finish. Aftertaste adds some lemon citrus to the diacetyl. Palate is medium, mouth coating, as mentioned aftertaste lingers with the diacetyl.

I sure wish they would’ve picked some better beers to bring to the Midwest beerfest! MWBF 2006: Very lemony in the aroma but not much else, generally plain. Zesty and lemony with a touch of mint. Only slightly above average. Yellow color. Update: unchanged reaction based on sample at brewpub.
