12 oz. can into a chalice Best by 12/24/2015 A: A gentle pour still yields a half inch of fine tight tan foam that lingers for several minutes and also laces thickly. Dark gold to pale orange color. Crystal clear but fine sediment is visible in suspension. Great looking beer! S: Malty toffee with just a light hint of citrus. Orange zest. Aroma very light overall but the beer is very cold. T: Citrus and pith bitterness upfront with a slight juiciness. Malt backbone just noticeable and gives a little balance. M: Body is lighter side of medium and frothy but not overly so. Pretty short but clean juicy finish. O: This pale ale has many negative reviews but I think it’s pretty good. Local (to me) brewery means it’s widely available, usually very fresh and never terribly expensive. All this adds up to well worth purchasing IMO and recommended.

Clear deep gold body with a tall off-white head. Light malt and hop aroma. The flavor is a bit on the sweet side for what I like in an American Pale Ale. This could also pass for an Amber Ale..

Draft - Caramel and spicy earthy hops. Clear gold with a rich white head. Sweet caramel with a very light hop profile. More sweet than hoppy, but easy drinking.

Location: Nitro @ Revolution, 12/9/12
Aroma: This one has a fairly hoppy nose of citrus mostly, with some pine notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy gold color with a small, lasting white head and heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor of this beer is lightly sweet, with a medium hoppy bitterness to it
Palate: It has a super creamy nitro-style feel to it, it is clean, smooth, and ends medium dry
Overall Impression: This was my first and (so far) only beer from LoneRider, and I found it to be both interesting and enjoyable. They did a very nice job with this one. Good stuff.

12 ounce bottle from Lowes Foods in Hickory, NC. Pours a clear copper color with a large frothy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Nice fresh hop aroma with citrus and some leafy notes, as well as a malty and nutty note. The taste is citrus and floral hops with a good bit of caramel malts. Medium bodied and well balanced. This brewery continues to impress me.
