This is a traditional English style ale brewed with four malts and four hops. The complex malt character and deep copper color balances with the mild English hops delivering a smooth finish. Alcohol runs about 5% and the carbonation is relatively low. Enjoy a few! Cheers!

On tap at the brewpub. Nice copper color, slightly hazy, with a medium, off-white head and good lacing. Great malty nose, with notes of caramel, oats, and ripe apples. Mild hop bitterness follows, lending some resinous and earthy character. Sweet and malty flavor up front, with a strong, but nicely balanced bitterness. Medium body, a little chalky, syrupy, and smooth. Overall, this is a great, aromatic, and balanced beer.

Draft - Sweet caramel with some grains. Clear amber with a decent white head. Lots of caramel and a very light appropriate bitterness. Very true to style, well done.
