Draught, small creamy head, quite clear rusty orange color, toasty grainy aroma with yherbs and yeast, biscuity malty flavor with a strong herbal bitterness and a hint of citrus. Pleasant drinkable IPA, just a little bit heavy.

Sample at Flying Saucer in Austin. Pours a clear orange-amber color with a medium thin and fluffy white head that recedes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with a piney hops character along with flavors of citrus and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruit hops aftertaste. Above average all around.

Location: Draft at Flying Saucer Austin, 2/18/12

Aroma: The nose is citrus and floral hops, some caramel, and a little pine
Appearance: A cloudy orange color with a thick, creamy, lasting white head and fairly heavy
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet, pretty well balanced, with a decent hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it is fairly creamy, with a smooth body and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This made for a nice IPA. I enjoyed this one quite a bit. It was probably my favorite of the local IPAs I tried on this trip to Austin.

On cask at petrol station. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bit of citrus but is mainly full of dank pine and earthy notes. Flavor begins with a nice citrus note that is overtaken by resinous pine with a bit of a dank note.
