Draft - Sweet raisins and brown sugar. A bit vinous and boozy. Cloudy brown orange with a thin head. Raisin, brown sugar and hoppy bitterness. A decent American barleywine.

Tap @ High Desert. Pours a reddish orange appearance with a cream colored head. Somewhat sweet, caramel, herbal/floral aroma. Just a light retro nasal burn but overall, an easy drinking, toasty malty, rich caramel, somewhat sweet, a bit earthy flavor. Quite easy drinking. Nice brew.

Amber and hazy. Herbal, hoppy, lightly spicy on the nose - some nice dry hops. Lots of rich malt, with a good dose of hop, and slight heat late. Pretty well-balanced.

On tap at the High Desert Brewpub. Pours dark amber with a thin head. The aroma is caramel malts, and floral and earthy hops. The flavor is sweet and fairly bitter. The palate is medium to heavy, flat and syrupy. Overall, this was a lackluster barleywine, but not bad.
