Taste; The lightly coloured malts give the beer a soft malty flavour, with a touch of bitterness at the end derived from the Fuggles hops.

Bottle from BIAB. It pours lightly hazy orangey - amber with a thick, foamy beige head. The aroma is earthy, woody, rivita, nutty and spice. The taste is drying, toothy, nutty, earthy, rivita, grassy, spice, cereal, hay, old leather boots and a touch of tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation a bit toothy and earthy. A bit like a nutty bitter or suchlike.

Bottle picked up from Dranken Vande Woude, Pervijze-Diksmuide Belgium, consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Thursday 12th September 2019. Cooking Steak, Caramelised Onion and Red Pepper Mustard Pies and listening to Marc Riley on 6Music. Pours dirty amber with a swiftly departing off white head. Good bitter bite, not sure what hops are in here but it has a lovely rustic feel. Nice carbonation, soft mouthfeel, it's got a really good UK bitter feel about it. Very good.

Bottle at home, well deserved after hard admin work. Hazy light amber with big fluffy almost white head. Bready malts, lots of hops with quite some 'green' notes, soft lime peel, bitter herbs going towards a more floral touch. It's lots of nice and bitter hops, and tastes more like actual hops than anything else. Soft caramel, fresh browm bread crust. Almost medium sweet and quite bitter. Not really a "touch" of bitterness, mor elike a blow, or an explosion. Medium bodied. Quite what you'd expect from De Ranke, I enjoy it.

Bottle. Amber with a fluffy inch of of near white head. Aroma of dough, biscuit, spices, pears. Soft texture. Sweet with biscuit and fruit before insistent bitterness and spices (coriander, white pepper) at the end. Straightforward but quality stuff.
