This IPA has a perfect balance for a beer of this strength and complexity. The fresh, crisp, dry finish leaves your palate begging for more!

Perfectly carbonated, golden-orange in colour with a thick ivory head.

The hops explode with flavour followed by notes of grapefruit and orange. The aroma is sweet, hoppy and fresh.

Okay clear medium copper body and kind of bad foam. Chewy caramelly hops aroma, syrupy and fruity. Taste is a thick biscuit, chewy hops, ends oily and thick. Good hops balances by some malt notes but kind of a one horse town beer.

amber color. Frothy off white head. Very perfumy, floral, somewhat resiny nose. Medium body, very perfumy moderately aggressively bitter. Not super well balanced. Fairly bitter finish.

Bottle from Darby’s
just bought it, but it’s quite old, 2014.12.14 on the cap

Hazy amber color. The aroma is not too bad, there is some caramel, and some footy note. But the flavor is really poor; poor malt, some cereals, dry mouthfeel, vegetables notes; bitter, but with barely any hop quality.
Ok, it’s an old bottle, but this one shouldn’t get so bad in just few months.

22 oz. bottle, pours an opaque dark orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma is quite earthy in the hop department, with some fungal notes and a little stale cardboard. Flavour is earthy and piney, with some bready malt, stale cardboard, and fungal notes. Not overly pleasant, but inoffensive, though still not worthy of drinking. Meh.

Draught @ The National, Calgary. Cloudy dull amber, earthy and a bit if caramel. Caramel but honestly it gets sour, inappropriately so, and this is a problem.

Draft - Sweet grapefruit and a bit of fresh pine. Clear gold with a dense white thin head. Pine, resin and perfume with a nice malt balance. Bitterness is balanced with an appropriate malt backbone. Nice IPA.
