Muddy amber-brown, aroma is phenolic like band-aid, tart and with light dark malt character. This really does not come together well.

Draught at Bitter Tasting Room, Vancouver
Hazy red-mahogany color with generous creamy head. The aroma is caramelly, with some apple hint. The mouthfeel is round and smooth; good flavor of caramel with a chocolate accent, moderate residual sweetness; not much wheat character, but getting slightly drier at the end; correct bitterness; vague fruity impression across it too.
Bold beer, pleasant.

650mL bottle, pours a dirty dark amber / maroon with a small beige head. Aroma of dark fruits (plums especially), some wheat, clove and banana. Flavour brings out loads of clove, some banana, earthy qualities and dark fruits. The banana and clove comes through the most at the end, with no hint of the alcohol. Decent stuff.
