Light tan, big fresh ginger aroma, with a bit of yeastiness, soft, sweet body with a lot of cardamom and a dash if orange peel, bit of ginger. Aggressive but refined character.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out the ginger and cardamom upfront in equal parts, with not really any of the wit noticeable. Flavour surprisingly blends this all well together, with just enough ginger and just enough cardamom sitting on top of a citric and wheaty base. This one exceeded my expectations. Very refreshing and drinkable. Good stuff.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy dark blond color with small compact head. The aroma is mild, herbal, fruity, orangey, spicy; harmonious. Off-dry and lean mouthfeel; mild ginger flavor, reasonable bitterness level; light but appreciated bready touch; the cardamom is very light but may be found in the far final.
I’m not a big fan of Witbiers and spiced beers, but this one is well brewed and wisely spiced.

Draft - Cardamom, herbs, grains and Belgian yeast. Cloudy yellow with a thin head. Heavy cardamom and spices, ginger and Belgian yeast. The ginger and spices really overwhelm and make this taste more juice like. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
