Draft - Roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Pitch black with a minimal brown head. Full bodied and very rich on the tongue. Coffee and chocolate notes are prevalent with a nice long finish.

On tap at Boundary Bay Brewpub, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of oats, sweet chocolate and light coffee. Flavour of oatmeal and sweetened chocolate upfront. Medium-to-full bodied with a great balance of sweetness, cut down by the oatmeal. Excellent.

Draught at St. Augustine, Vancouver
Black color. Aroma of roasted malt. Strange flavor, mixing roasted malts and phenols, with some residual sweetness, light liquorice and a feeling of dark candies.
Somehow chaotic, weird.

Draught. Poured black with thin fast dissipating head. Ring lacing. Very faint aroma of malt and coffee. Full balanced flavour of malt, coffee, oatmeal and bittersweet chocolate. Some alcohol burn. This tasted quite strong. Lasting oatmeal finish.
