Bloomington's 5th annual collaborative brew has been brewed with friendship and explosions (the brewers blew up hops on brew day), Blast Zone White IPA features 8 different hop varieties during the boil process and 5 more post fermentation. Count 'em; that's 13 hop varieties. This brew has a bold hop character with citrus and pine aroma. Using Belgian Witbier yeast, coriander, orange and lemon peel, you will also find subtle hints of spice and a creamy citrus flavor. While there will not be a Bloomington Beer Festival this year, this collaboration will be released at each brewery during Bloomington Craft Beer Week until supplies run out. Draft. Floral lemon peel, light pine, and biscuit malt aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet citrus, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter pine, grass, and grapefruit peel flavor. Okay body - a bit light.
