Can: Clear amber with a large, frothy beige head. Orange and caramel scent. Taste is mild, sweet orange malt....then a growing orange-peel bitter that finishes fairly resiny. Pretty good...vastly different from the first sip to the last. A big cumulative effect from the bitter hops.

So, JMHO, if its a different beer, then name it different, not just a stupid, add on, like denali. Every ricken hop in its family taste virtually the same, so, gittwiddit. Just say for style; ipa denalli, ipa what ever. How many different IPA can they make? Evidently a brazillion, and that's not racist. Drank this from a can, in a big short round plastic fishbowl stemless goblet, just what it deserves. Got this for two bucks at vintage in boardman, nice place. Surprisingly ravishing orange on color. Thick craggy head, Nice. Metal on hops nose, whew; and that carries over to the taste; whew too. Intimidating bitter bullshit all round, does not giver you a chance to recover. Keep drinking and keep catching a 8% buzz, not lie. This cannot be less than an eigther abv. Big nasty rude ass arrogant finish, way over the top, too much for my girlie lovin lager taste buds. I'm so sick if these IPAs, but now I'm addicted, can't give em up. How about we put all these stupid azz beers into the same style, they are more ubiquitous than cheap pale lager, no shit.

Can. Pineapple, orange, biscuit malt, and orange peel aroma. Amber with large eggshell white head. Moderately pineapple/orange, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel/pine/grass flavor. Nice body and balance. Solid.

Dang what a disappointment. Aroma is quite mild with just the barest hint of fresh hops but the flavor tastes like old hops with some malt and that's about it. Nice appearance.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/21/2017. Pours slightly hazy medium orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky cream colored head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big pineapple, lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big pineapple, lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of pineapple, lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance; and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Very juicy and lightly dank hop complexity; sizable malt backbone, but not overly sweet. A very enjoyable offering. A delicious and unique single hop profile.

Can. Hazy amber body. Short white head. Aroma of toasted grain, pineapple, citrus, earthiness. Hint of pine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Taste of bitter resin sticks around along with notes of herb, citrus and pine. The flavors don't gel much. And the mouthfeel is thick. A clunky beer overall. My least favorite of the hero variety pack.
