Glad to find a a sample of this, been waiting. Pounder pabst can, yum. Tastes like a milder APA. Enjoyable actually. Lacks much of that evil APA stuff that wants to be an IPA. I like this, its a good example of a mild domestic pale ale, I think its even better than genny cream or koch's. Easy and very quaffafble. Yes, good stuff, sessionalble, thank you. No rude or typical nasty domestic ale effects, one of the better APA I've had. Not as good as Indigo Imp Jester Fin City White Marlin Pale Ale Crooked Tongue Easy on the Tongue or even Brew Keepers Deathwind Pale Ale, but its still pretty darn good.

Can: Clear gold with a large white head. Grain, light orange scent. Taste is soft and sweet orange malt and grain malt. Very mild orange-peel bittering. This is really a fairly solid, sessionable APA Not bad at all.

16 oz can from Winco. I was anxious to try this after seeing it on the store shelves, because I like their old Tankard release so much. What I got was just a very generic Pale Ale that was only slightly better than their lager a little bit thicker not too many hops to be seen very grainy but smooth. It's didn't wow me like the old Tankard did but overall it was drinkable and a little bit had a little bit more heft than PBR.

Draft @ Buffalo Brewfest. Clear golden. Light citric, grainy, malty, some bitterness. Not much going on. Not offensive either.

Cans drunk 3/11/18.
Light amber, clear, with a rapidly-dwindling, white head.
Cereal-like grains, lots of bread, sweet, borderline saccharine-like sugars and marmalade and black pepper-like hop notes all give a rather crude impression, with light resin, even.
Mushy-sweet, underfermented malts add saccharine, table sugar, vanilla and corn-like cereal. Punchy, vaguely citric hops mostly add a peppery, orange-tinted spice and too much bitterness/resin. Lingering table sugar and pine flavors quickly bore and fatigue. Heavy, brisk, forced carbonation annoys the palate, as well. After it becomes less-than-very-cold, it's a chore to drink.

Can from Total wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear, bright gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is floral/lightly spicy. Med body or nearly. Flavor is spicy/floral with some slightly roasty malt. Not entirely dry, but very nicely bitter. I'm surprised.

16 oz can. Pours a clear gold color with a large white head and very good retention. Very good lacing. Hops nose. Clean mouthfeel. Light caramel malt start with a light hop bitterness finish. Very clean. Medium body. It's fun reading the reviews of the haters trying to hate this. Put this beer in a craft can and they would love it. Haha.
