Bottle: Clear, deep copper with a thick beige head. Strong caramel/cola, breadheel aroma. Taste is sweet....caramel malt, toasted grain. As others have already noted, it starts pretty well, but loses it's legs quickly. The toasted/sweetness gives way to a slightly flat, dry, mineral bitter. Fairly decent......early on.....then......clunk..

Bottle thanks to Phil. Pours a dark amber with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and caramel. Medium body, caramel, wet biscuit, light finish, good.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear coppery amber with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma of lightly sweet slightly roasty malt. Med body, nearly. Flavor is like the aroma, tho there does seem to be a little hop bitter lurking around. Not all that fond of Viennas, but this one is certainly drinkable.

Best by January 18th 2018.

It pours a lovely clear deep amber, small head of foam, nice lacing.

Smells of caramel malt, toasted malt, bits of grass. The sweet notes are almost fruit like.

Caramel and toasted malt up front, mild sweetness, hops don't seem to be grassy; more like herbal with a touch of spice.

Mouthfeel is super smooth.

Delicious Amber Lager!

Bought this stubby bottle in a cheese store in Frankenmuth Michigan, go figger. 2.5$ Drank right from the twist off bottle, looks like its pale. Has more of an ale appeal than the regular bud. Its personality is somewhat rude at times. Yes, very much like your typical craft beer personality found at any micro or nano brewer today. Can't really say it tastes like any amber lager I had recently, APA all the way. A little less civilized than expected, but that's what you get with most craft beers; so I'm saying its craft like.
