Brewed with ripe Washington apricots for a refreshing apricot flavor with slight tart finish.

12 oz twist off bottle that was part of the World Market 9 pack Beers of Winter gift from my Mother in Law. APR1618 printed on bottle neck. The pour is a slight haze orange golden with a minimal off white head. The aroma is peach skin, artificial peach sweetness and wheat grain. The taste is the fruit peach soft artificial chemical sweet, followed close behind with somewhat dirty wheat, grain and earth and yeast to the finish. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation, unfiltered mouth feel and the lingering dirt wheat flavor. This one didn’t work for me.

Bottle: Hazy, dark yellow with a thin, off-white head. Scent is heavy apricot. Taste is apricot/ peach fuzz....not much wheat here..... Kind of an odd, fruit-pit bittering. Not good.

Cloudy apple juice color pour with a small off-white head and fair retention. No lacing. Strong apricot & peach nose. Taste follows the nose. Clean and smooth wheat base. Simple and refreshing.

Bottle. Floral/soapy apricot, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet apricot, wheat malt, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Light body. Okay - at least it's not a sugar bomb. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blue Moon Pacific Apricot Wheat on 29 Dec 2017 at 20:09 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 3.5. Pours a hazy gold from a bottle. Perfumey apricot aroma is off putting, some honey as well, especially in the mouth. Ends nicely on a good wheatiness. Meh.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a cloudy golden color with a huge foamy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar and artificial peach. The flavor was cracker, yeast, artificial sugar and artificial peach. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok

Bottle. Smells like apricots, very much like apricots. Tastes like I'm drinking apricot perfume, Weird. Some co2. Looks like a wheat beer fer sher.Perhaps its pacific because its really gimmicky. Difficult medicine. Only thing good about this beer is the smell but then that's ruined when you taste it. Not impressed. Quite uncivilized.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 3/26/2018. Pours fairly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lightly tart/tangy apricot, peach, mango, melon, pear, red apple, cardamom, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of apricots, fruity/light spicy yeast, cardamom, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart/tangy apricot, peach, mango, melon, pear, red apple, cardamom, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of apricot, peach, mango, melon, pear, red apple, cardamom, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/light spicy yeast, cardamom, and pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spicy/tartness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and fruit tang/tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/tangy/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is a good fruited American pale wheat ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/light spicy yeast, cardamom, and pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly tart/bitter/spicy finish. Very well balanced between all flavors, with nice yeast character presence for the style. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Kroger bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is apricot - it does smell good, but also somewhat artificial. It smells like a candle would smell if they made one in apricot scent. Flavor is slightly bitter - definitely not sweet. Apricot, more dried apricot than fresh, black tea notes. It's actually quite tasty. I'm quite surprised how much I enjoy this... I would not guess this was a Blue Moon offering if I didn't know.
